You're retired and have a new partner. Maybe you're thinking of moving in together or getting married, or entering into a registered partnership? Will this change anything in your pension?

Your pension benefit remains the same
If you get married, enter into a registered partnership or start living together after you retire, nothing changes for your pension benefit. The same amount will be deposited into your account each month. Your partner will not be entitled to a partner’s pension, which means you aren't required to register your partner with the pension fund.

Your AOW benefit does change
If you receive a state pension (AOW), the amount of this benefit may change. More information can be found on the website of the Social Insurance Bank:
