Frequently asked questions and answers

How will the new pension scheme affect me?
If everything goes according to plan, the Avery Dennison Pension Fund will have a new pension scheme as of 1 July 2027. At this point, we are not yet able to specify exactly what the new regulations will mean for you personally. What is already certain is that your pension will become more personalised. You will receive personal capital for your pension, which will fluctuate in line with the investment results.

Does the new pension scheme apply to me even if I am already retired?
The new pension scheme will apply to everyone. This includes participants who are currently accruing pension, former participants who accrued pension in the past, and pension beneficiaries who are already receiving a pension.

When will I know how much my pension will be?
We understand that you would like to know what the transition means for you. We are not able to give you exact information on that yet. However, we can explain what you can expect from us.

  • Before the transition on 1 July 2027, you will receive an overview with a preliminary estimate of your pension under both the current scheme and the new scheme.
  • This overview is subject to change and is only intended as a forecast.
  • In autumn 2027, you will receive a statement with the final calculation of your pension based on both schemes. This calculation is based on the situation on 1 July 2027, which is the date your pension will be converted.

What can I do now?

  • It is advisable to check whether your details are still up to date in My Pension. For example, please review your bank account number, your partner’s details and your email address to ensure they are correct. Has your situation changed? Please let us know so we can keep your details up to date. For example, if you start cohabiting with someone or you get divorced.

  • In My Pension, you can indicate that you prefer to receive information digitally. If you choose this option and enter your email address, we will be able to inform you quickly and easily about any developments concerning your pension and the new pension scheme.

  • Visit our website regularly. There you will find the most recent information about the new rules for your pension and about the transition to the new scheme.
